Same Day DNA Testing is expedited genetic testing designed to establish biological relationships—such as paternity test, maternity, siblingship, avuncular (aunt/uncle) or grandparentage. Same Day DNA Testing services we provide are for non-legal peace of mind purposes and are primarily used for personal knowledge, not court-admissible results.

This testing method prioritizes speed and precision for people who need results quickly. Our standard DNA testing service takes 2–3 days; however, same-day testing expedites this process, making results available by the end of the business day once the laboratory receives the DNA samples which is the next business day.

It should be noted, all DNA samples are tested and analyzed by our partner Association for the Advancement of Blood and Biotherapies (AABB) accredited laboratory. The accreditation ensures your DNA samples are processed with highest industry standards.

Same Day DNA Testing includes the following types:

• Paternity Testing: determines the probability of paternity between an alleged biological father and child.
• Maternity Testing: determines a biological relationship between mother and child
• Sibling Testing: Determines if two people shares common parental biological relationship between one or both parents.
• Grandparentage Testing: Determines a biological relationship between to a grandparent and grandchild when a parent is unavailable for direct testing.

Same Day DNA Testing, What to Expect:

• Efficiency: DNA samples are shipped using FedEx First Overnight, ensuring lab delivery at opening. Once received, testing begins immediately.
• Priority Analysis: The laboratory’s personnel will prioritize testing your samples first over standard sample submissions
• Turnaround Time: Results are typically available by the end of the business day on which the lab receives the samples—this does not mean results are available the same day the samples are collected.
• Cost: The starting price is $1,500 includes testing and shipping of specimens to the lab (excluding sample collection fees).
• Quality Standards: Testing will only conclude if all genetic quality control metrics are met. If DNA degradation or contamination occurs, extended testing may delay delivery.
• Legal Status: These tests are not legally admissible. Legal DNA testing requires formal documentation and chain of custody procedures, and results take 2–3 business days.

Please note: For increased efficiency, for same-day testing. We recommend avoiding food, drink, breast feeding or smoking at least 1 hour prior to your buccal cheek swab collection appointment.

What DNA sample collection methods are used for Same-Day tests?

Cheek swab sample collection is the method of collection for same-day tests. Please keep in mind alternative forensic samples like hair or bone require longer testing analysis therefore these options are not offered for our same-day testing option.

How long does Same-Day DNA testing take?

Same-Day DNA Testing is completed by the end of business day from the date the lab receives all genetic samples. Upon the completion of your results a copy will be mailed to your home and another will be emailed to you.

Are Same-Day DNA Tests Accurate?

Yes. Same-day DNA tests are accurate. Our expedited services meet the same high standards as standard DNA tests.
