Yes. Legal DNA test can be performed without a court. Remember only DNA testing services that offer accredited services are recognized by family courts nationwide.
What method is use to collect my DNA samples?
The standard method of collection is performed by cheek swabs. Methods such as blood are a more invasive and painful method of sample collection that has the same accuracy as a cheek swab.
Alternative Samples:
When cheek swab sample collection method are not an option, it may be possible by court order to perform a genetic analysis using the one of the following samples.
- Hair follicle samples
- Bone samples preferably femur bone
- Blood card or vial samples
